Ann Smart Trophy & President Cup 2024

On Saturday 2nd March Wales Netball hosted the National Schools competitions, Ann Smart Trophy & President Cup. 

The prestigious event showcased some excellent talent, Wales Netball would like to praise all the teams for your performances during the competition.  

Massive congratulations to the winners, runners-ups and most valuable players for both competitions! They are as follows:  

  

Ann Smart Trophy (U16) 

Winners – Ysgol Cwm Brombil   

Runner Up – Ysgol Gyfun Cwm Rhymni 

Most valuable player – L. F. Thomas (Ysgol Cwm Brombil)  

Overall Results:  

3rd: Alun School  

4th: Ysgol Maes y Gwendraeth  

5th: Ysgol Syr Hugh Owen   

6th: Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg  

7th: Ysgol Llanfyllin 

8th: Newbridge School 

President Cup (U19) 

Winners – Gower College   

Runner Up – Ysgol Glantaf 

Most valuable player – H. Forkuoh (Gower College)

3rd: Coleg Y Cymoedd 

4th: Ysgol Y Strade 

5th: Coleg Gwent Crosskeys   

6th: Ysgol David Hughes 

7th: Christ College Brecon
