Netball Return to Play Update (Fri 16 July)

Following the announcement from Welsh Government on 14 July we are pleased to confirm that we can allow the return of ‘traditional’ netball rules in outdoor netball from tomorrow (Saturday 17 July.)

This easing of netball restrictions will come with the following caveats:

  • Up to date risk assessments must be undertaken by session organisers to reflect these changes. An updated template can be found here.
  • Session registers must continue to be taken by organisers.
  • Equipment should still be sanitised every 15 minutes.
  • Whilst social distancing outdoors is no longer a legal requirement from tomorrow, players, spectators and workforce are encouraged to maintain a safe distance between themselves and others when off court.

As ever, all of the latest information and resources regarding Return to Play and COVID-19 can be found here.
