Congratulations to newly appointed Welsh Netball Board members.

Huge congratulations to the following individuals who have
been elected to a position on Welsh Netball’s Board for 2016-17.

Vice President: Wendy
Pressdee
Elected Director:
Lesley Riddell
Elected Director:
Jean Foster

Wendy Pressdee has been appointed Vice President.  Wendy has been a valued member of the netball
community in Wales for several years.  We
are grateful for her support once more.

“I feel pleased and very privileged to be re-elected as Vice
Pesident,” says Wendy.

“I’m happy to be able to help netball move forward and
develop over the next couple of years in any way I can, and look
forward to the challenge.”

Lesley Riddell has been re-elected as Director on the
Board.  Lesley is Chair of the Cardiff
and District League, and is involved with Amersham Netball Club, Cardiff.  

“I am very happy to be re-elected as a Director,” says
Lesley, “and looking forward to continue working on the Board to contribute to
the growth of netball in Wales with particular interest in Umpire education.

“I really enjoy trying to help the organisation strengthen
and modernise governance arrangements to meet the needs of our membership as
well as external stakeholders.”

Jean Foster has also been re-elected Director on the
Board.  Jean is a much valued member of
the Welsh Netball family, and we look forward to continue working with her.

“I am really pleased to be re-elected,” says Jean.  “I’m excited to be part of this great sport
of ours, at a time when we are seeing growth and televised netball match.”
