Contribute to Netball in Wales

We are pleased to share that we have launched a donation option on our membership platform for internal and external stakeholders to contribute towards several areas of delivery in our organisation.

Donations will contribute to the following areas of development within the organisation, helping to support:

  • Our work towards making netball in Wales equitable
  • Safeguarding in grassroots and pathway environments
  • Educational resource development
  • Athletes in our pathway programme and Wales Age Groups Competitions
  • Sustainable projects
  • Volunteer recognition

Every quarter, our operational team will review the donations raised and decide where the money will be allocated. Please be assured this money will not be spent on staff, business needs, or commercial ventures.

We will be letting our members know which area donations were contributed to in our Wales Netball newsletter every six months and sharing the impact of their donation!

Head of Operations, Laura Milford, had the following to say about the feature, ‘over the last five years we have received generous requests from individuals and businesses looking to support our work as a Governing Body and are pleased to provide a feature to help make this possible. Donations will be allocated throughout the year depending on the priority project, for example, contributions towards our age group squads to attend competitions, any donations raised during a quarter will be assigned to support the squad to travel to the competition.’

If you would like to support development in key areas of our organisation, visit https://walesnetball-donations.sport80.com/donation to make a donation today! Any donation, big or small, will make a positive difference.
