COVID-19: Update from Welsh Netball

Welsh Netball has this afternoon (13th March 2020) taken the decision to suspend all Welsh Netball performance activities, including squad training, Talent Centres, LA Hubs and competitions, at all levels in Wales with immediate effect until 4 April 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Dependent on medical advice and guidance from the relevant authorities it is Welsh Netball’s intention to resume activities if deemed appropriate after this date. The health and safety of all Welsh Netball members is paramount and this decision has been taken with the best interest of everyone involved in the game.

Welsh Netball urges all its associated leagues and Area Associations to consider the suspension of their current competitions and leagues with resumption upon appropriate medical advice after 4 April 2020.

Welsh Netball will continue to monitor this situation on a day-by-day basis and will continue to provide updates when appropriate.
