Inter County Championship 2025

Over 500 talented young netball players from across Wales descended on Bangor University for the Inter County Championship on February 8th and 9th, for a busy and action-packed two-day event!

We had 43 teams battle it out across 4 courts which ran simultaneously over the 2 days. Parents and spectators cheered their support and enthusiasm from the sidelines, creating an electric atmosphere. Excellent displays of netball skill and sportswoman ship were showcased at this Championship, demonstrating the growth of talent across the eight regions in Wales.

The championship saw many very tight fought battles across age groups. A special mention to the 3 teams in the U14 A age group category; North East, Cardiff and Vale and North West, who battled it out so well finishing the day on 26 points each with only 0.08% goal difference separated 2nd place from 3rd place. An excellent display of the increase in standard and competitiveness on offer from the Championships this year!

A big congratulations to all the players that were selected for their county teams to take part in the Championship. A further congratulations to the winners, runners up and players of the tournaments for each category!
