On Sunday 7 April, Welsh Netball hosted its annual Under 16s National Clubs Competition at House of Sport, Cardiff. The competition was split into cup and plate sections and teams representing a number of clubs from across all regions of Wales took part in both sections.
The winners of the cup competition, who strode unbeaten into the final, was Llantrisant Netball Club. They took home the trophy ahead of North Dragons from Wrexham who finished as runners-up. Meanwhile, in the plate section it was Newbridge who won with CTK finishing in second spot.
Welsh Netball would like to thank all of the clubs for their participation in a great day of netball. Moreover, we would like to thank all of the officials, umpires, volunteers, coaches and parents who have helped to make the the club competition possible.
