Meet our North Wales NDO – Abbie Kelsall

Kelsall.  A warm welcome to the newest
member of our Welsh Netball family, Abbie Kelsall.  Abbie is our new Netball Development Officer
for North Wales.  

Here’s a little bit about
Abbie.

Home Town:
Buckley.
Based: Deeside.
Areas I work with: Flintshire,
Wrexham, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and Anglesey.

My background:
I attended Manchester Metropolitan University and achieved a 1st in Physical
Education and Sports Pedagogy (BA Hons).  I have coached, managed, umpired and played
netball for many years.  I have also
worked as a multi-sports coach and in retail.

My goals:
I aim to work closely with the Welsh Netball team and other organisations in
the region to develop players and a workforce – I hope to get you guys hooked
on netball for life.

My love for netball:
I started playing netball when I was 10 years old and have played for county
area and trained in the U17 long squad. I have been involved in umpiring and
coaching for my local club and for the LA Hubs over the past few years.
