Megan Pilkington to replace Celyn Emanual as Welsh Feathers Netball World Cup Reserve

Wales Netball confirm that for personal reasons, Celyn Emanuel will not undertake her role as a reserve for the Welsh Feathers, for the 2023 Netball World Cup. 

Emanuel will be replaced by Megan Pilkington. Pilkington who can play across all three midcourt positions has been part of the Welsh Feathers squad since September 2022 and has represented Wales Development and Leeds Rhinos NPL. 

Pilkington was recently selected as Vice-Captain of the Wales Development Squad that competed in the 2023 Europe Netball Open Championship in May in Cardiff, where Wales secured wins against The Isle of Man, The Republic of Ireland, UAE, and Malta.
