The Welsh Feathers secured a decisive 2-0 series win over the Zimbabwe Gems this weekend, but the second match held a special significance as veteran Goal Shooter Georgia Rowe earned her 75th international cap for Wales.
Rowe, Welsh Feather #201, marked the major milestone on Sunday, taking to the court in the hard-fought 50-44 victory at the House of Sport in Cardiff. Her performance was pivotal, earning her the Player of the Match award—a fitting tribute to her long-standing commitment to the red dress.
Rowe’s journey with the Welsh Feathers began a decade ago. Her debut came on May 16, 2015, at the Netball Europe Open Championships, where she first took the Goal Shooter (GS) position against England.

The 75th cap provides a major boost of experience for the squad as they head immediately into the highly-anticipated Celtic Cup to defend their title against the home nations and guest teams.
Rowe’s longevity and performance remain crucial for Wales Netball as they build towards the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, where she will undoubtedly aim to feature in her third Commonwealth Games tournament.
