Wales Under 21 Head Coach Appointed.

Welsh Netball are pleased to announce the appointment of Natalie Peperell as the new Head Coach for its Wales U21 squad.  As a former Head Coach of Bath University’s NPL team and Performance Pathway Coach with England Netball, Natalie brings a wealth of experience and an impressive skillset to the U21 Head Coach role.

Natalie was also Head Coach of Swiss Netball’s under 17 squad, and responsible for leading the side to their first ever Netball Europe Gold Medal in the development section.

The 35-year-old from Cornwall brings with her a UKCC Level 3 Coaching qualification and over a decade’s coaching experience as Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Head of Netball at various schools and universities across England.

She also has experience in developing coaches within performance netball whilst in her role as Coach Developer with Swiss Netball.

With a busy year ahead of Wales U21, Natalie will help prepare the players for the Netball Europe Youth Championships in May 2017.  They will then participate in the Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana in July 2017.

Natalie will begin in her role this weekend at a pre-Christmas U21 training camp. Natalie is very much looking forward to meeting the players and working with this exciting group of talented athletes leading into the World Youth Cup in July 2017.
