Kathryn Thomas became Welsh Feather 104 when she earned her first cap in an international match against England on 7 May 1983. Later that year, she was selected for the squad that travelled to the 6th Netball World Cup in Singapore, where she played in six matches against teams including Australia, Singapore, Scotland, Malaysia, and Jamaica. Her international career concluded less than a year later when she received her final cap in a match against England on 18 February 1984.
Playing in defence, Kathryn covered both Goal Defence and Wing Defence, bringing strength and adaptability to the team. Originally from Gwent, she was part of a generation of Welsh players who competed on the world stage, contributing to the national team during her time in the squad.
