Julie Lewis became Welsh Feather 105 and earned all six of her international caps during the 6th Netball World Cup in Singapore in 1983. Her debut came on 13 June 1983 in a match against Australia, and over the course of the tournament, she played against Scotland, Antigua, Malaysia, and Scotland once again, before her final appearance against Jamaica on 24 June 1983.
Specialising in defence, Julie played as Goal Keeper, taking on some of the world’s best shooters throughout the competition. Hailing from Gwent, she had the opportunity to represent Wales on the international stage, contributing to the national team during her time in the squad.
