Rita Rees became Welsh Feather 106 when she earned her first cap in an international match against Northern Ireland on 17 March 1984. The following year, she gained three more caps while competing in the UK Tournament, facing England on 2 March 1985 and Scotland the next day.
Playing as Wing Attack, Rita brought agility and vision to the attacking end, helping to link play and create opportunities for her team. Originally from Dyfed, she had the opportunity to represent Wales in four international matches, contributing to the national side during her time in the squad.
