Jayne Hopkins became Welsh Feather 113 and earned all her international caps at the 7th Netball World Cup in Scotland in 1987. She made her debut against Bermuda on 16 August and went on to play in eight more matches, facing teams such as Malaysia, the Republic of Ireland, Cook Islands, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Papua New Guinea, and Sri Lanka. Her final appearance for Wales came against Sri Lanka on 27 August 1987.
Playing as Goal Keeper, Jayne took on the responsibility of leading the defensive end, working to disrupt opposition shooters. Originally from South Glamorgan, she played nine international matches as part of the World Cup squad.
