Lesley Ace became Welsh Feather 114 and earned all her international caps at the 7th Netball World Cup in Scotland in 1987. She made her debut against Bermuda on 16 August and went on to play six more matches, facing teams such as Barbados, Malaysia, the Republic of Ireland, England, Scotland, and Sri Lanka. Her final appearance for Wales came against Sri Lanka on 27 August 1987.
Playing as Goal Keeper, Lesley played a key role in defence, working to challenge opposition shooters and protect the goal. Originally from Dyfed, she represented Wales on the international stage during the World Cup.
