Janet Allen (nee Horrell) is Welsh Feather #127 and played her first game in an International against the Republic of Ireland in 20/03/1993 before playing in the 3rd World Games against countries like Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Jamaica. Janet then played various Internationals against the countries England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland before being part of the team selected to play for Wales in the 9th World Cup hosted by England in 1995. In the 9th World Cup Janet played 7 games against the countries of: Bermuda; Western Samoa; Antigua & Barbuda; Papua New Guinea; Malta; Cayman Islands and Northern Islands. After that impressive performance Janet went on to play in multiple Internationals against the countries of the Cook Islands, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Singapore, New Zealand, Malta and the West Indies. Janet was then also part of the squad in the 16th Commonwealth Games hosted by Malaysia in 1998 where she played her final 5 games against the Cook Islands, South Africa, New Zealand, Malawi and finally Sri Lanka.
