Clare Hawkins is Welsh Feather #135 and earned her first cap in an International against South Africa on 31/10/1994, then going on to play in Internationals against England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. After this, Clare was selected to be part of the team representing Wales in the 9th World Cup hosted by England in 1995 where she played 8 games against the countries Bermuda, Western Samoa, Antigua & Barbuda, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, Cayman Islands, Hong Kong and finally Northern Ireland. Clare then played in Internationals against Jamaica, England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Republic of Ireland, Singapore and New Zealand before playing in the 1998 FENA Open against Northern Ireland, Malta, Scotland and England.
