Melanie gained her first cap in an International against England in 1999, then played them for a second and final time in the FENA Open. After that, she played the rest of her capped games in the 10th World Cup in New Zealand where she played Vanuatu, Cook Islands, Barbados, South Africa and her final game against Trinidad & Tobago on 28/09/1999.
Melanie is one of the few Feathers to have played against Vanuatu and the Cook Islands.
Melanie also continued her netball career by joining the Wales Netball board of directors.
Melanie played Goal Attack and was from Cardiff.
