Ursula Pritchard (nee Bowers) is Welsh Feather #149 and earned her first cap playing in an International against England on 30/01/1999, then going onto play in the 1999 FENA Open against Malta, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. After this Ursula was selected to represent Wales in the 10th World Cup hosted by New Zealand in 1999 where she played 9 games against the countries: Vanuatu, Scotland, New Zealand, Cook Islands, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Singapore, United States and Canada. Next came an International against Barbados on 12/03/2002 and after that she was part of the team for the 17th Commonwealth Games hosted by England in 2002 where she played against Sri Lanka, Canada, England, New Zealand, Jamaica and South Africa, then playing 2 Internationals against Scotland before the 2003 FENA Open where she played against Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. Ursula was then selected to represent Wales in the 11th World Cup hosted by Jamaica in 2003 where she was able to play 8 games against the countries of St Vincent, Cayman Islands, Sri Lanka, Antigua, Bermuda and Scotland. After this came the 2004 FENA Open against Northern Ireland Scotland and England, then an International against South Africa on 03/12/2004. This pattern continues with the 2005 FENA Open where Ursula faced new opponent the Isle of Man, then playing an International against Jamaica, then playing in the 2006 FENA Open. Ursula was then selected for the 18th Commonwealth Games hosted by Australia in 2006 where she played Australia, Samoa, Jamaica, Singapore, Barbados and South Africa. She then played 2 games in a World Cup qualifier against Scotland and Northern Ireland, then played an International against South Africa on 20/01/2007, then the 2007 FENA Open, then an International against Australia on 11/05/2007. Ursula was an obvious choice for the 12th World Cup hosted by New Zealand in 2007 where she played 6 games against Botswana, New Zealand, Malawi, Malaysia, Fiji, Trinidad & Tobago. Her next caps were gained after a 7 year break in a World Cup Qualifier against Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland before playing in the 20th Commonwealth Games hosted by Scotland in 2014. In the 20th Commonwealth Games she played against Australia, England, Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, South Africa and her final game against Northern Ireland on 01/08/2014.
