Emma Thomas is Welsh Feather #188 and earned her first cap playing in the 2010 FENA Open against Northern Ireland on 25/04/2010, then playing Northern Ireland again for a World Cup Qualifier before taking part in the Nations Cup where she played Namibia, India, Scotland and Tanzania. In 2011 Emma played in a Netball Europe Open Championships against Scotland and Northern Ireland before she was selected to play for Wales in the 13th World Cup hosted by Singapore in 2011 where she was able to play against New Zealand, Fiji, Botswana and Samoa; at the end of 2011 Emma played 3 games against Scotland in the Wales Open. 2012 started with the Tri-Series where she played 2 games against the Cook Islands; in 2013 she played one game against Scotland during the Netball Europe Open Championships. 2014 Emma played in the Northern Cup against Singapore and Scotland. In 2015 she played in the Netball Europe Open Championships against Trinidad & Tobago, South Africa and the usual suspects before getting selected for the 14th World Cup hosted by Australia where she was able to play Fiji, Zambia, Uganda, South Africa, England, Australia, Malawi and her final game was against Uganda on 16/08/2015.
