Clare Jones is Welsh Feather #203
Clare has had a long netball career, starting at age 8 in Treforus Netball Club. From then, Clare played for Afan Nedd Tawe County’s U14, U16, U18 squads, South West Wales Talent Centre in the U18, Exeter University 1st team (from 2009 to 2013), England universities, and Team Bath long squady, CTK and Cardiff Premier, to now currently competing for Cardiff Dragons (previously known as Celtic Dragons) in the Netball Super League. Clare got her first cap for Wales in 2016 in the 2016 Netball Europe competition.
Clare’s career highlights include getting her first cap, as well as taking part in the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers and 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Some fun facts are she loves reality tv, and is late to everything non-netball related!
Clare’s final game was played in the 16th World Cup hosted by South Africa in 2023 where she played Scotland on 05/08/2023.
