Welsh Feather #42, Ann Chard (née Harries), had an illustrious netball career, representing Wales in an impressive 30 games over five years. While most of her appearances were in UKT competitions against England, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, Ann also had the distinct honour of being part of the Welsh team at the first Netball World Cup in England in 1963. This landmark event allowed her to compete against international teams, including Trinidad, Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies, South Africa, and Jamaica.
Ann excelled in multiple positions, including Goalkeeper, Goal Defence, Centre, and Goal Attack. Out of 30 games Ann drew 1, won 7 and lost 22 which is a win rate of 23.33%
