Wendy White is Welsh Feather #55 and got all 7 of her International Caps in the 1st Netball World Cup hosted by England in 1963! This allowed her to play against Scotland, Australia, West Indies, South Africa, Jamaica, New Zealand and Northern Ireland.
Wendy White played Wing Defence and was from Barry/Glamorgan/South Wales.
Not only a Welsh Feather, Wendy dedicated her life to Netball in Wales! She was a player, a team manager, a coach, worked in the National Governing Body and was on it’s board for many many years as it’s President. Wendy is truly an unforgettable name in Wales netball history. The index cards that the majority of players have were all kept up to date by Wendy, without her and her passion for the Welsh Feathers legacy we wouldn’t be able to have a database of players.
Wendy passed away on 15 Aug 2016.
