Julia received her first cap in 1979 in an International match against the Republic of Ireland and played against that team specifically twice more in her netball career. She’s also played in the 5th & 6th Netball World Cups in 1979 and 1983 respectively.
Julia is also one of the few Feathers to play against Antigua (6th World Cup 15th June 1983)! She decided to continue her netball career later in life by joining the Wales Netball board of directors.
Julia played Wing Attack, Wing Defence and Centre and was from South Glamorgan.
