Kim Lemon, formerly Owen, became Welsh Feather 103 when she earned her first cap in an international match against England on 7 May 1983. Soon after, she was selected for the 6th Netball World Cup in Singapore, where she played against teams including Singapore, Malaysia, Northern Ireland, and Jamaica.
Kim went on to represent Wales in two World Cup campaigns, a significant achievement in any player’s career. Eight years after her first tournament, she was part of the squad for the 8th World Cup in Australia in 1991, competing in 10 matches against teams such as Western Samoa, Fiji, Scotland, Australia, Sri Lanka, the Cayman Islands, and Canada. Following this World Cup, she earned her final cap in an international match against the West Indies on 12 November 1991.
Playing in attack, Kim took on the roles of Wing Attack and Goal Attack, bringing skill and creativity to the court. Hailing from West Glamorgan, she played 26 international matches, securing 15 wins and 11 losses, giving her a win rate of 57.69%.
