Performance Pathway Officer

Performance Pathway Officer is responsible for co-ordinating the Wales Netball Performance Pathway to ensure the identification and development of talented athletes and their progression through the Wales Netball Pathway.

Typical Activities:

  • Manage and co-ordinate the Performance Pathway from Talent Centres to National Age Group Squads ensuring assessment, tracking and monitoring to maximise player development and prepare athletes.
  • Ensure there are robust talent Identification, player, umpire, officials pathways and selection processes in place.
  • Manage the screening process of players into the pathway in conjunction with the Head of Performance and establish a network of entry and exit points into the Performance Pathway working collaboratively with Talent Centre/Club/County/School Coaches where appropriate for effective player identification and recruitment.
  • In collaboration with the Head of Performance, manage the age group squads, including clearly defining the way to play and setting specific, age related outcomes for players, coaches and umpires in the performance pathway.
