Schedule for 2022 Commonwealth Games Released

Birmingham 2022 has released the latest version of the competition schedule for next year’s Commonwealth Games – the biggest multi-sport event to be staged in the UK for a decade.

The sporting action will start in style on Friday 29 July, with netball taking place from Friday 29 July to Sunday 7 August 2022 at the NEC, Birmingham. Details of the netball sessions can be found below.

Twelve teams will be selected by the International Netball Federation to compete in the netball competition. The host nation (England) will automatically qualify and the remaining qualifiers will be made up of the other top 11 Commonwealth Games eligible teams from the INF World Rankings table. Qualifiers for the 2022 Games will be confirmed during December 2021.

Day 5: 2nd August 2022 Session 9 12:00-15:30 & Session 10 18:00-21:30
Day 6: 3rd August 2022 Session 11 12:00-15:30 & Session 12 18:00-21:30
Day 7: 4th August 2022 Session 13 09:00-12:30, Session 14 14:00-17:30 & Session 15 19:00-22:30
Day 8: 5th August 2022 Session 16 09:00-13:00 & Session 17 14:30-18:30
Day 9: 6th August 2022 Session 18 (SF1) 09:00-11:00 & Session 19 (SF2) 14:30-16:30
Day 10: 7th August 2022 Session 20 (Bronze Medal) 13:30-15:30 & Session 21 (Gold Medal) 20:30-22:30.
