Selected Wales Senior Squad Travelling to the Isle of Man

We are excited to announce the 12 athletes selected to travel to the Isle of Man for a series of test matches. The Wales Senior squad are due to travel in the upcoming weeks to play the Isle of Man national team.

 

The team will travel to the Isle of Man on Thursday the 11th of November and will play three ranking matches. Head Coach Sara Moore (nee Hale) has said “having the opportunity to play ranking matches is invaluable for us as we aim to qualify for Commonwealth Games in Birmingham 2022.”

“We’ve had some really valuable training matches over the past few months, which will stand us in good stead to play the Isle of Man”

Sara Moore has named a squad of 12 with 3 reserves who could travel dependant on injuries ahead of the 11th.

Suzy Drane and Nia Jones have been selected as Co-Captains whilst Clare Jones supports in the Vice-Captain role. 

The senior squad will travel to the Isle of Man next week. We wish them the best of luck in their matches.
