Georgia Rowe reaches 50 International Test Matches in the final match of the Commonwealth Games

Georgia Rowe celebrates her 50th cap in a closely contested game against Malawi in the XXII Commonwealth Games.

Georgia made her first appearance in the red dress in 2015 against England in the Netball Europe Open Championships and since then has gone from strength to strength. Georgia prides herself on accuracy and shows that even against the toughest opponents she can step up to the mark.

In her 50th test match against Malawi, Georgia partnered well with Betsy Creak in the shooting circle as she has done throughout the competition. She has started in the Goal Shooter position in every match of the 22nd Commonwealth Games and has stood tall against all her opponents including the world number 1 ranked team Australia.

After finishing 11th in the 2018 Gold Cost Commonwealth Games, a top 8 finish was something to aspire to. Being in the playoff’s for 7th position and finishing 8th is a step in the right direction and builds momentum going into the World Cup Qualifiers.

Congratulations Georgia on reaching your 50th cap! 50 down and 50+ to come!
