Trials for Performance Pathway are now live!

Following the launch of our new Performance Pathway, we are pleased to announce that applications are now open to trial.

Those seeking to trial must have a Wales Netball account on the membership portal, however, they do not have to have a paid membership to attend the trial. Please note, those without a valid membership are not covered by Wales Netball insurance, therefore play at their own risk.

To be eligible for Regional Academy, trialists have to have represented at least one of the following:

  • School (1st/A team for relevant age group)
  • County/Region (1st/A team for relevant age group)
  • Club (1st/A team for relevant age group)
  • NPL Franchise
  • National Team

You are not expected to attend a Regional Academy if you are over the age of 17 and play in an NPL franchise or are in a University/College programme. National Academy trials will be in February and applications for those trials will be opening soon. U19 & U21 athletes can trial for regional academy if they are not part of another netball programme as highlighted above.
