Wales Development Squad Announcement

We are delighted to announce the selection of the Wales Development Squad that will compete in the Europe Netball Open Challenge. The competition will take place from Wednesday 10th – Sunday 14th May 2023 at House of Sport, Cardiff.

The Europe Netball Open Challenge sees nine teams competing in a round robin format (France, Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Israel, Malta, the Republic of Ireland, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates).

Welsh Feathers Assistant Coach Sarah Lewis will lead the Development Squad as Head Coach with Jo Ricketts as Assistant Coach.

Wednesday 10th May, 7pm – Isle of Man vs Wales Development Squad

Thursday 11th May, 7pm – Republic of Ireland vs Wales Development Squad

Friday 12th May, 3pm – UAE vs Wales Development Squad

Saturday 13th May, 11am – Malta vs Wales Development Squad
