Wales Netball 2024 Activities Pack for Welsh Schools

Last year, in an effort to engage youth throughout Wales with the Netball World Cup, Wales Netball developed the Netball World Cup 2023 – Activities Pack for Welsh Schools. The concept and creation of these packs were well received by schools across Wales, and after reviewing its impact and engagement, we are back this year with a brand-new Schools Pack for 2024.

This year, the theme of our Schools Pack is environmental sustainability in sport, a subject that is crucial in powering positive change. Whether it’s at grassroots or performance level, we all have a part to play in protecting and preserving our environment. This 20-page booklet explores innovative ideas of how everyone can work towards sustainability within our sport. Brilliant initiatives for sustainability are introduced through several different mediums, whether it be mathematic worksheets or literacy and design tasks, there is something for all students to engage with.

An A3 poster accompanies this pack, perfect for displaying on your classroom walls. After listening to your feedback from last year, we have also included some Netball Session Plans for both Primary and Secondary Schools, so you can take your students outside and get them active!

Our Netball Activities Packs for Welsh Schools will begin landing in Schools this week and next, so keep a look out! We would love to see how your school engages with the packs this year, so don’t forget to tag us on social media, and use our hashtags #WNSchoolPack24 & #SustainabilityInSport.

Are you a teacher in Wales who would love to use this resource, but unfortunately haven’t received the pack in its physical form? Reach out to us at walesnetball@walesnetball.com with your name and school name, and we can send you a QR code to access these brilliant resources.
