Wales Netball announces departure of Chief Executive Sarah Boswell

Wales Netball today confirms that Sarah Boswell has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer of Wales Netball and the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Dragons to pursue new opportunities outside the organisation. Sarah has served as Chief Executive for the past two years and communicated her intentions to the board at the beginning of September. During her tenure, Sarah oversaw and implemented the development of Ymladd 2030, Wales Netball’s strategic framework for the sport.

Helen Williams, Chair, Wales Netball, said: “We thank Sarah for the contribution she has made to Wales Netball and the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Dragons over the past two years and wish her well in her next chapter. Our Ymladd 2030 strategy is now well established and we remain focused and committed to delivering against its ambitions. Our senior leadership team and boards contribute a breadth of skills and experience that will continue to provide strong leadership as we move into the next phase of our development.”

Sarah Boswell, outgoing Chief Executive Wales Netball and Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions Dragons, said: “Leading Wales Netball and the Dragons has been a privilege. I am proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to everyone who has been part of that. I wish both organisations and the netball community in Wales every success and look forward to what comes next.”
