Wales Netball confirm partnership with University of South Wales (USW)

We are pleased to be entering into a partnership with USW. This agreement will see USW become an official partner for the Welsh Feathers ahead of the World Cup. Established in 2013, powered by 182 years of history, USW is dedicated to creating positive change and making a real impact which is felt outside it’s campus buildings, across South Wales, and further afield. With campuses in Cardiff, Newport, and Pontypridd, they are driven by their mission to change lives and our world for the better. USW is Wales’s leading widening participation university.

About the partnership, Wales Netball CEO Vicki Sutton said, “This partnership has been in the making for quite some time and the journey so far with USW has been incredibly positive. USW is fast becoming a hub for Netball and the investment they have put into Netball internally has been really impactful already. It is great to have them on board ahead of the World Cup”.

Head of Sport, Faculty of Life Sciences and Education for USW Jay Probert said “We are proud and excited to officially launch our partnership with Wales Netball at such an exciting time for the sport. Creating, establishing, and growing strategic partnerships is key to success here at USW Sport and the opportunity to work closely with an organisation with such aligned values will undoubtedly yield many benefits for our students.”

Wales Netball are delighted to announce this partnership with the 2023 World Cup a matter of days away. It is a fantastic boost to the squad to have such a valued partner on board.
