Wales Netball hosted the first Inter County Championship since 2019, and it was great to see so many people! We hosted 28 teams across 6 categories in a jam packed, 2-day competition weekend with a new and exciting format!
After 3 years, we were privileged to see so many athletes compete in such a high-quality championship, and it was great to see parents and spectators there to support too. We are proud to have hosted such a prestigious tournament which displayed some amazing netball, demonstrated by hard working athletes from all over Wales.
Congratulations to all teams that were involved in creating an exciting championship, and a further congratulations to the winners, runners up and players of the tournaments from each category!

The Inter County Championship was full of excitement, with competitions, inflatables, music, special guests and more filling the weekend!
One parent wanted to recognise the hard work that went into the event and said, “I wanted to congratulate Wales Netball on a fantastic regionals tournament over the weekend at House of Sport in Cardiff. What a great weekend we had. It was so well organised with so much fun, sportsmanship and hard work going on.”
“Whether they won, lost or drew, it would have meant the world to every single person in that tournament to be able to play netball at that level, especially after such a rubbish two years.”
Wales Netball would like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers, athletes, parents, spectators, and Wales Netball staff members who came to the event and made it a great weekend. We hope everyone had a great time!
