Wales Rises to 9th in INF World Rankings

Ahead of the new year, the International Netball Federation released an update of the INF World Rankings which saw Wales continue to move up the international ladder, consolidating their position in the world’s top 10 by improving to 9th place.

This climb follows Wales’ impressive performance at the 2019 Netball Europe Open Championships in Belfast, where the squad overcame hosts Northern Ireland, Scotland and recorded a dramatic draw with England.

2020 begins with Wales’ senior squad continuing to train in preparation for another busy year of international netball, with qualification for the 2022 Commonwealth Games on the horizon.
