Welsh Netball’s Head of Performance, Rosie Pretorius said: “The open Wales trials were a success with over 30 athletes attending from across the country. It was a great opportunity to unearth new talent and we are excited to develop these young athletes as we look towards our long-term goal of competing in the 2022 Commonwealth Games.”

She added: “The successful triallists will now join the current Welsh squad with a summer training programme ready to start their squad sessions in September.
