Wales U19 and U21 Squad Announcements 

Exciting news for netball fans! We are excited to announce that Wales U19 and U21 teams will be playing against Scotland U19 and U21 in Cardiff, ahead of the LexisNexis Cardiff Dragons’ game against Surrey Storm on the 19th of April.  The match timings are below: 

  • Wales U19’s v Scotland U19 – FCP at 2:20pm  
  • Wales U21 v Scotland U21 – FCP at 4:20pm  

The matches will feature some of the most talented age-grade athletes from Wales and Scotland, and it promises to be an exhilarating and competitive event. The selected squads are as follows:

Sarah Lewis, the Head Coach of the Wales U21 squad, expressed her confidence in the selected squad for their upcoming U21 fixture against Scotland. She said, “These athletes have demonstrated the skill, dedication, and teamwork that is required to take on the Scottish squad, and we are confident in their ability to represent Wales U21 proudly on the court, showcasing the depth of talent that we have in Wales.  

Jo Ricketts, Head Coach of the Wales U19 squad, also expressed her excitement about working with this group of athletes, many of whom are new to the performance pathway this season. “The athletes work hard and are eager to learn, and this game will be a great chance for us to test ourselves and to see the progress we have made.”
