Wales U19 Europe Netball Squad Announcement

We are delighted to reveal the Wales U19 Squad that will be competing in a Europe Netball U19 Pilot event this December. The squad features bright prospects from our National Academy Programme, led by a strong management team.

The event will take place in Loughborough on the 16th and 17th December 2023 and will provide match play opportunities for the U19 age group, in this new look competition. The Wales Squad will take on the following teams in shortened matches of 2 x 12 minutes:

  • Scotland
  • Northern Ireland
  • Gibraltar
  • Republic of Ireland
  • England Invitationals (two teams)
  • Isle of Man

The U19 team will be led by Jo Ricketts (Head Coach) who will be supported by:

  • Vikki Healan – Assistant Coach
  • Anna O’Brien – Team Manager
  • Heather McLintock – Physiotherapist

As this is a pilot event, there will be no spectators or live streaming at this event.
