Wales U21 Fundraising Virtual ‘Walk to Fiji’

Wales U21 have qualified to take part in the prospective 2021 Netball World Youth Cup in Fiji. The 20-team tournament would feature the best young netballers on the planet and some of Wales’ most promising youth netballers hope to be among them.

The 32-strong Wales U21 long squad, plus the management team, are now working hard to secure sponsorship funds to help support their performance programme with a ‘Get to Fiji in February’ challenge.

Already underway, the challenge will be for the team to run, cycle, walk, jog, hop or skip the 10,000 miles to Fiji within the 28 days of February. They want to do this with as much help as possible from family, friends and the netball community.

They would really like as many supporters as possible to help them with the virtual challenge – you can get involved by tagging a Wales U21 or coach in an Instagram post showing how far you’ve contributed! Just tag @Nikkinetball30 and @rhianevansxx We will update you with their progress later in the month.

People can also play a big part in helping to support the squad by making a donation to the team’s fundraising page. Wales U21’s players and management are grateful for any support that Wales’ netball community can offer.
