Wales U21 Squad for Netball Europe Revealed

Welsh Netball is pleased to reveal its Wales Under 21 squad for the upcoming 2019 Netball Europe Under 21 Championships in Worcester on 4-6 October.

The athletes selected to represent Wales are as follows:

Carys Allen (Cardiff Metropolitan University)

Morganne Dunne (Severn Stars U21)

Chloe Dyke (Cowbridge Netball Club)

Nia Evans (Team Bath U19)

Beca Hughes (Mold Netball Club)

Georgia Jenkins (Team Bath U21)

Bethan Johnson (Dinas Netball Club / Cardiff Metropolitan University)

Carys Llewellyn (Cowbridge Netball Club)

Eleri Michael (Team Bath Toucans / Cardiff Metropolitan University)

Shona O’Dwyer (Severn Stars)

Miquie Walker Jones (Central Netball Club)

Gwenan Williams (Cardiff Metropolitan University)

Commenting on the selection of Wales’ new Under 21 netball squad, Head of Performance Rachel Bayley said: “Congratulations to all of the players selected to represent Wales at the upcoming Netball Europe championships.

“This is a very exciting squad featuring a great mixture of new and experienced age-group players and we can’t wait to see them out on court in Worcester in a few weeks time.”

Wales Under 21 will begin their tournament against Scotland on Friday 4 October, followed by games against England and then Northern Ireland.

Wales Under 21 match schedule:
