Welsh Netball’s Under 17 squad enjoyed an excellent run at this weekend’s England Netball NPL (Netball Performance League) tournament in Nottingham, finishing in 4th place.
The squad, sponsored by a number of businesses and fundraising work, travelled to Nottingham to face off against some of the best Under 17s sides in England in the end of season showpiece. They performed incredibly well in the group stages, only losing one match to go into a semi final against Manchester Thunder. The team came agonisingly close against Thunder and then lost against Severn Stars in the bronze medal match to finish fourth.
