Welsh Netball is pleased to announce its Wales Under 17 team for the upcoming Netball Europe 2020 U17 Championships to be held in Ebbw Vale, Blaenau Gwent 6-8 March 2020. The team will be looking for further success in the coming tournament after winning a silver medal at the 2019 edition of the European showpiece event.

Welsh Netball’s Head of Performance, Rachel Bayley was excited to see the new Under 17 team perform on home turf next month. She said: “Firstly I would like to congratulate all of our young athletes on their selection for the Wales U17 squad. It is a great honour to play for your country and is a very exciting opportunity for these exciting netballers. The added bonus of playing on home turf in front of a Welsh crowd will make Netball Europe an even more thrilling experience for the team!”
Ticket information for Netball Europe U17 Championship in Ebbw Vale will be released in due course. The tournament will feature 2019 winners England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and newly promoted side Switzerland.
