Following yesterday’s 2018 Commonwealth Games Pool B match against Scotland, we disappointingly have to announce that Wales wing attack, Bethan Dyke, has suffered a serious injury. During a very physical game, Bethan sustained an ACL tear. This means Bethan will no longer be able to compete in the rest of the Commonwealth Games, but remains a very important part of the team in the athletes village for the remainder of the games.
Bethan was devastated at the news, but is now in a positive mindset and is focusing on day 1 of rehabilitation. Bethan will be supporting the team for the remainder of the games and is looking forward to the remaining fixtures. Bethan also wants to thank everyone for their support.
