Cyhoeddi
carfan Pêl Rwyd Cymru dan 21.

Mae Pêl Rwyd Cymru yn falch o gyhoeddi’r garfan dan 21 oed o bymtheg chwaraewr, lle caiff y deuddeg terfynol eu henwi i wynebu Lloegr, Yr Alban a Gogledd Iwerddon ym Mhencampwriaeth  Pêl Rwyd Ewrop yng Nghaerdydd.

Caiff y Bencampwriaeth  ei gynnal yng Nghanolfan Chwaraeon Cymru yng Ngerddi Soffia rhwng 7-9 Hydref eleni.  Mae hi’n ddigwyddiad arbennig iawn am ei bod hi’n gystadleuaeth lle fydd y gwledydd yn medru cadarnhau eu lle yng Nghwpan Pêl Rwyd Ieuenctid y Byd ym Motswana 2017.

Dyma’r tro cyntaf erioed i Gaerdydd groesawu gemau rhagbrofol Cwpan Pêl Rwyd Ieuenctid y Byd.

“Mae hi’n fraint cael croesawu chwaraewyr gorau Prydain o dan 21 oed i Gymru,” meddai Prif Weithredwr Cymdeithas Pêl Rwyd Cymru, Sarah Jones.

“Mae hi’n achlysur arbennig iawn i’r chwaraewyr ifanc, i gyd yn edrych ymlaen at sicrhau eu lle yng Nghwpan Ieuenctid y Byd flwyddyn nesaf.

“Mi fydd hi’n benwythnos cyffrous gydag awyrgylch trydanol, a hoffwn wahodd y Cymry i ddod i fwynhau pêl rwyd o’r safon uchaf, ac i gefnogi Cymru yn eu hymgyrch wrth gwrs.”

Y garfan o bymtheg ydy:

Bethan Johnson, Bethan Moore, Chloe Dyke, Chloe James, Eve Wright, Evie Brereton, Fern Davies, Leila Thomas, Lowri Jenkins, Lydia Hitchings, Megan Powell, Miquie Walker-Jones, Morgan Ireland, Rebecca Baker, a Sarah Llewelyn.

Meddai Pennaeth Perfformiad Elît Pêl Rwyd Cymru, Trish Wilcox,

“Mae’r garfan yn gymysgedd o chwaraewyr profiadol ac ambell wyneb newydd.  Mae’r chwaraewyr wedi bod yn gweithio’n galed iawn ar eu rhaglen hyfforddi personol a rhaglen y tîm, ac maent yn barod ar gyfer yr her o’i blaenau.

“Bydd gemau rhyngwladol fel hyn yn brofiad bythgofiadwy iddynt, ac edrychai’r tîm cyfan ymlaen at groesawu timoedd dan 21 y tair gwlad arall a’u cefnogwyr i’n Prif Ddinas hardd.”

I fod yn rhan o’r bwrlwm ac i gefnogi Cymru, cewch hyd i docynnau ar wefan Ticketline: http://www.ticketline.co.uk/inf-netball-world-youth-cup#bioe
