Welsh Netball is proud to share the news that two of its elite officials have been appointed as umpires for the upcoming 2019 Vitality Netball Superleague.
Alison Harrison has been re-appointed for another term in the competition’s team white, while Rhian Edwards has been made a VNSL umpire for the very first time.
Both umpires have extensive experience in officiating, Rhian recently umpired at the Maccabiah Games in Israel and was named to umpire at last season’s Under 17s Netball Europe Open Championships. Alison has also officiated at a range of international tournaments, such as Netball Europe Championships, Quad Series and Netball Youth World Cups.
These appointments mark a fantastic achievement for both of these elite umpires and the netball community from across Wales will look forward to seeing Rhian and Alison in action in the Superleague next year.
