Welsh Netball Extends Short-Term Membership to Aid Return to Netball

We are pleased to announce that from today (Friday 7 May) we will be offering our monthly adult members an extension on their rolling short-term membership until the end of the current season. This membership option replaces the previous rolling short-term membership that was previously capped at 3 months maximum, and will now apply for 4 consecutive months. Concession rates (i.e. Under 18s) remain the same.

Click here to visit our membership website and join Welsh Netball today.

If you are struggling to access your membership account please follow these simple steps.

The decision to extend temporary membership comes as netball enjoys an accelerated return to play thanks to latest changes to Welsh Government Coronavirus restrictions. The new membership option will allow netballers to affiliate to Welsh Netball for the remainder of the 2020/21 season and enjoy the return to safe netball activity in line with our Key Dates document.

Vicki Sutton, Welsh Netball’s Community Lead was thrilled to introduce the new option for returning netballers. She said: “Now that grassroots netball is starting to get going again, there are netballers across Wales who are now confident to get back on court as part of a safe return to netball.

“This extended membership option means that adult members will be able to join Welsh Netball for the rest of the current netball season without having to affiliate for the full year. It means that they will have access affordable playing insurance that will cover them for netball activity under our Key Dates document.”

We would again like to extend our gratitude to those who have affiliated as full members earlier on this season. It was fantastic to see so much netball enjoyed ahead of the December lockdown.
