Welsh Netball Launches: Netball Nights In

Wales is about to go into a two-week national lockdown, meaning we have had to pause our Return to Play roadmap. To help beat the lockdown blues, we at Welsh Netball have planned a series of FREE online events to keep you going during the next two weeks!

Take a look below at our Week 1 programme below. Some of our activities are limited, so register early to avoid disappointment

Also, during the half-term week we will be running different Netball Challenges (Monday–Friday) on our official Instagram, with prizes up for grabs. Keep an eye on our Insta account for details of the daily challenge: @welshnetball.

At 5pm each day we will pick a winner out of all the videos we have been tagged in on Instagram and winning entry will get a brand new Gilbert netball.

Week 1 ‘Netball Nights In’ Programme:

Monday 26th: 7pm – 8pm – Goal Setting for Netball Players, Coaches and Umpires

Led by Chartered Sports Psychologist Rebecca Chidley.

Tuesday 27th: 6pm – 7pm – Yoga for Beginners Led by qualified and insured Yoga Instructor Angela Farr.

7:30pm – 8:30pm Yoga for Improvers Led by qualified and insured Yoga Instructor Angela Farr.

Wednesday 28th – Watch the Playback of New Zealand’s first test against England from 4:30pm on Sky Sports Arena (You will require a paid Sky subscription for this service.) If you are an early riser, the game is live from 6am on Sky.

Thursday 29th: 6:30pm – 7pm – 30 minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Workout with qualified fitness instructor and Welsh Netball legend Kyra Jones.

Friday 30th: 7pm – 8pm – Bingo Banter with dual-international and current Wales netball co-captain, Nia Jones.
