Welsh Netball thanks supporters of South African tour.

The Wales
senior and Under 21 squad tour to South Africa would not be possible if it was
not for the support of our partners and sponsors.

 Partner,
Torfaen Leisure Trust have hosted the Under 21 squad training sessions, in
preparation for the test matches against Netball South Africa’s Under 21 squad.

Torfaen
Leisure Trust’s Chief Executive, Sally Church, said,

 “Torfaen Leisure
Trust is thrilled to be supporting Welsh Netball during their South
Africa tour. It is a fantastic opportunity for these athletes to take part in
an international test series. This can only help
improve the whole team performance and to do what they love overseas.

 We are honoured
to host the U21 team training sessions at our facilities, and wish both squads all
the best on their tour,” said Sally, who is a netball fan herself.

 Inspire Sport
have been key to the South Africa tour by assisting with flight logistics.

Steve Butchard, Inspiresport CEO, said,
“Inspiresport are extremely
proud to partner Welsh Netball and are delighted to be able to support the
group on their tour to South Africa.

“As specialist providers in team sports development
tours, naturally we were more than happy to facilitate all flights for the
group. We wish them every success and look forward to hearing all about their
experience when they return.”

The Welsh
athletes have been training hard in PlayerLayer clothing and will be wearing
their kit with pride whilst in South Africa.

“We,
at PlayerLayer, are thrilled to be the official kit supplier for Welsh
Netball,” said PlayerLayer Marketing Director, Rod Bradley. “The agreement sees
us take a significant step into the netball market, working with two ambitious
teams in Wales Netball. The organisations share similar principles and visions
to PlayerLayer, and as the sport continues to grow in popularity we believe now
is the perfect time to get involved.”

Welsh
Netball thanks all our partners and sponsors for their support, which has
helped to allow us to make the trip to South Africa.  Welsh Netball looks forward to growing the
relationship with said partners and sponsors, to create similar unique
opportunities such as this one again in the future.
